moco movement collective - bio

moco movement collective was established by Stine Isachsen Knudsen in 2019, and has since then produced six full length performances in addition to several commissioned works in alternative spaces in Norway and abroad (signature buildings, galleries, urban spaces, sculptures).

The choreography is severely physical, with an intricate language of movement that emphasizes  partnerwork with a feminist theme. It centers on generating a sense of intimacy and challenge the boundaries between performers and audience.

moco collaborates with several other artist and dance companies in Norway and abroad.

Stine Isachsen Knudsen holds an MA Choreography Trinity Laban London, PDD Professional Diploma in Performace and BA (Hons) Dance Theatre.
